Dear Markham Minor Lacrosse Families                                         January 4, 2012
As you may be aware Markham lacrosse held its annual general meeting on October 19, 2011. This is a mandatory process for registered non for profit organizations that are managed solely by volunteers. To my surprise only one family attended this important meeting. The AGM is to summarize and highlight the past 2011 season and move forward towards the 2012 and future seasons.
I cannot run this program alone the association requires many more volunteers to accept some roles in order to provide a quality program for our youth. I have included a brief summary of the volunteer roles which require support. I sincerely ask you to seriously consider volunteering a portion of your valuable time which will allow our youth to continue to play for the great organization Markham Minor Lacrosse.
Please feel free to contact me directly about any of the positions and / or ideas which you feel you can contribute.
I look forward to meeting lots of excited and committed volunteers.
We are building for the future and require the following assistance. Please understand there are wonderful volunteers in place in position that will be great mentors to learn and grow with.
Thank you in advance, please contact us for more information email us at markhamthunder@gmail.com
