The MMLA web site has been created to allow all members of the association to have access to resources that will assist them in participating in the sport of Lacrosse. The web site will provide news, schedules, standings and resources for players, coaches and referees. We hope that you find the resources that are available on this site to be useful to you. Please use this to find out what team you have been placed on after April 18th (all divisions except Midget/Intermediate - after April 30th) and then check the schedules for the 1st game night.

** New ** Coach and Parent Lacrosse Fundamentals Clinic

Markham Lacrosse has organized a Coach and Parent Lacrosse Fundamentals Clinic for Thursday May 8th, 2008 at 8:30pm- 10:00pm at the Mt. Joy Arena.

The Clinic will cover the fundamentals of lacrosse, the basic rules of Lacrosse and the drills to improve a player's skills.

So bring your lacrosse stick (or you kid's stick), wear running shoes , t-shirt and long pants and come out and learn the game your children are playing

HELP PLEASE

It is time to start preparing for the 2008 Lacrosse season. We need more parent involvement in many areas, both on and off the floor. The Markham Minor Lacrosse Association has a very small volunteer base, especially compared to other sports. Without additional help, we will not be able to put any new initiatives in place. If you want \ to see things change for the better, more parents are going to have to step up. It doesn't take much time, and you do not need lacrosse experience to help, as there are many administrative and organizational things that need attention too.

Our Treasurer is moving and MMLA needs to find a new Treasurer as soon as possible. If you or you know of someone that might be interested please contact us.
