House League |
Overview
The House League Box Lacrosse program is available for both boys and girls between
the ages of 4 and 21. The program is consists of seven (7) divisions as follows

| Intermediate | 17-21 | 1987-1991 |

Each of the divisions has one game and one practice a week (Monday to Thursday 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm depending on the age)
at one of the local arenas |

Required Equipment
All players MUST wear the following equipment (no exceptions)
- CSA Approved Helmet and Face Mask
- Shoulder pads and Arm Guards
- Rib/Kidney Pad
- Gloves
- Athletic Support/Protective Cup
- Athletic foot wear
- OLA approved Lacrosse stick
- Mouthguard

Peanut - Introducing Soft Lacrosse
MMLA is pleased to annouce the introduction of Soft Lacrosse for the Peanut program
Soft Lacrosse has
- development type drills
- use a regular lacrosse stick
- wear helmet with face mask, shoulder pads, gloves, jock, mouth guard. Optional are kneepads, arm guards, kidney pads.
- use a sponge type ball, not a normal lacrosse ball.
- each sessions is a practice with a scrimmage
Soft Lacrosse does NOT have
- any contact of any kind. No stick checking or body contact
- organized games
